Educational classes
The Educational Centre with Museum of the Magura National Park in Krempna gives classes for groups, both lectures and workshops in the Educational Centre or in the area of the Park. In English, as of today, we offer classes listed below. There is a possibility of giving other type of classes but it must be consulted with a park’s employee in advance (3 or more weeks). The Educational Centre offers also a conference hall, a reading room and a place for temporary exhibitions.
1. Nature conservation in Poland and around the world
A lecture

Date: the whole year
A few words about the history of environmental protection in Poland and around the world with a particular emphasis on National Parks. NGOs dealing with nature protection. A question – what are the threats to nature in our world and what can we do to save the environment? Discussion how the environmental protection works in Poland. In longer version there are more details given about national parks and how they work worldwide.
2.The cultural heritage of the Beskid Niski Mts.

Time: 45 minutes
Date: the whole year
A short history of settlement in the Beskid Niski Mts, a history and culture of the Lemko etnic group are the main subject that are brought up during the lecture. Villages, existing and non-existing, of the area of the MNP and its buffer zone. The mementos of inhabitant villages such as crosses, roadside shrines and cemeteries.

The classes concern general information about MNP such as: history and foundation, flora and fauna, location and activities. Interesting photos which illustrate those topics add some variety to the classes.
